Ingredients
2 lbsbrussels sproutswashed and trimmed; cut into halves
4tbspsbalsamic vinegar
4 tbspsmaple syrup
2tbspstamari or a low-sodium soy sauce
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°F.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Wash and trim brussels sprouts. Cut into halves.
For the sauce, mix together the balsamic vinegar, maple syrup, and tamari in a small bowl.
Place the brussels sprouts in a large ziploc bag. Pour the sauce over the brussels sprouts. Seal the bag and shake it until the brussels sprouts are well coated.
Place the brussels sprouts in an even layer on top of the baking sheet. It doesn't matter if the brussels sprouts are facing up or down, as long as they don't overlap each other.
Bake for approximately 45 minutes at 400°F. Since brussels sprouts vary in their size, check the brussels sprouts every 15 minutes with a fork to make sure they don't overcook. Once they are tender, they're ready to come out of the oven. Enjoy!
